At the last NYC Social TV Meetup…
We recently hosted the second NYC Social TV Meetup at Socialbomb HQ, and once again had a great turnout and a lively discussion around the emerging
We kicked things off with an overview of the industry developments for the past month. The full list is embedded below, but a highlights included Yahoo’s purchase of Into_Now a mere 12 weeks after their public launch, and a lengthy discussion of GigaOm’s TV check-in stats.
Sean Casey from SocialGuide was also there to discuss their recent funding, their methods for tracking real-time social viewing, and the eternal question of what happens after we know who’s watching what - a recurring theme for our meetups so far.
Just after last month’s meetup, friend and social TV conspirator Kenny Miller’s company theKMco launched their coviewing experience for Knicks games at KnicksNow.com.
